Michael Keaton is an American actor, producer and director who is best known for his performance in the movie 'Birdman. Being a multi-faceted actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic characters. Apart from playing the roles of a romantic, he has also starred in action films and thrillers. He developed an interest in performing and acting when he was in his teens and tried his luck at stand-up comedy while an adult. Although his comedy career did not succeed, it was the foundation for his career as an actor. To be successful in the field of comedy and performer, he was hired working as a cameraman for a local cable television station. When he was working in the station when he realized he actually wanted to be present in front of cameras. After landing a job on television, he appeared on numerous shows on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor and gained popularity quickly on television. His comedic roles brought him fame and he embarked upon a career as a filmmaker who had high hopes. His fame was further elevated by the acclaim he received for his performance as Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. Over time his acting ability were improved, and he started to look into directing and producing. He won numerous nominations and awards for his role in the 2014 film Birdman.
